On January 14, the submarine USS Gudgen from Perth, Australia, nosed up undercover of darkness at Calmon Point in the vicinity of Hinoba-.an where Lts. lgmidio Quinto, Delfin Juico, Rodolfo Ignacio,Patricio Jorge, and Sgts.Dalmacio Malic and Jesus Villamar landed to make contact with guerilla forces and to report to GHQ, SWPA (South West Pacific Area Command).
