On Aprli 2, the Filipino-Japanese Friendship Shrine, established in memory of the fiercest battle fought in Sagbang, Valencia during World War 11, was unveiled. The rite Was attended by hundreds of Filipinos and more than a hundred Japanese and some Americans. Some of them were veterans or the families of veterans who fought in that battle.
